As you know we are all about being Eco-Friendly here at The Nappy Gurus and sanitary protect is no different.
Bloom Reusable Sanitary Pads are a lovely alternative to disposable sanitary products, which are made with plastics and chemicals. They have a natural bamboo fleece next to your skin, and popper tabs to keep them firmly in place.
It is estimated that these pads can save up to 9p per use, when compared to popular brands of disposable pads- now, that's positively period!
They have a unique stay dry binding that keeps wetness away from your clothing for fantastic leak protection.
Size + Care Guide
Nora Liner - Tiny but tremendous this dainty panty liner is so versatile. Perfect for using along with a cup, for those last days or just in case days. Length 16cm (approx.)
We recommend a quick hand rinse in cold water after use and store in waterproof bag until it’s time to wash. Wash within 48 hours at 40 degrees with non-bio powder. Your pads can be tumble dried on cool. Don’t use fabric softener as this will reduce their absorbency. Likewise we recommend you don’t use harsh stain removers as they may damage the waterproof membrane and irritate your skin.
If you are using your Bloom and Nora pads on the go, we absolutely recommend you use our waterproof out and about bag. It has a wet and dry section to keep your pads separate and holds 4 – 6 pads depending on their size.You can wash pads straight from the bag, just pop the whole thing in the wash, making sure the zip is open.
N.B Pads cannot be returned once used unless faulty.
Why we love it
We don't want to bang on about Eco-Friendly alternatives.... but it's important! Some people don't consider reusable sanitary pads when looking to switch their everyday products to Eco-Friendly alternatives, but they really are a thing and they are super popular too. Some people like to use them as a back-up to the Mooncup, others use them alone. Not only are they better for the environment as they don't contain plastics, they are better for you! No chemicals or toxins that are present in disposable sanitary wear. They will also save you money in the long run! Win!
Just pop them in the a wet bag when used and then put the bag in the washing machine unzipped. So no need to touch them if you'd rather not.
With a contured slim fit, bamboo fleece next to the skin and a soft waterproof exterior they are more comfortable than the plasticy disposable alternatives. Also made in the UK and Oekotex certified! It doesn't get any better. Give them a try you will be surprised.

How much is home delivery?
- Standard UK delivery via Royal Mail Tracked 48 - FREE for orders over £45 (£2.45 for orders under £45)
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 - £2.95
- Next Working Day delivery via DPD (UK mainland only) - £6.95 orders must be placed before 1pm
- International Delivery - the delivery charge will be calculated in the basket based on the weight of the order.
When will I get my order?
- Orders placed before 3pm are dispatched the same day Monday - Friday
- Orders placed after 3pm will be dispatched the following day Monday - Thursday
- Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will be dispatched the following Monday
- Orders for Next Working Day delivery via DPD must be placed before 1pm Monday - Thursday
- International orders will be dispatched as above, delivery times will vary dependent on destination.
