The Little Lamb Bamboo Nappy is pretty much a nappy stash staple. It provides a great level of absorbency, and is often a great choice for overnight use.

What is it made from?
The Little Lamb Bamboo nappy is made from Bamboo which makes it lovely and soft, with great absorbency. The both sizes of nappy comes with a 2 layer bamboo booster - in the Size 2 it is sewn in at one end, and in the Size 1 it is loose, meaning you can remove it for a slimmer fit if the nappies doesn't need that extra "boost" of absorbency.
What else will I need?
You will need a water proof cover to go over the top of this fitted nappy to create the waterproof layer. We reccomend the Little Lamb Wrap Nappy Cover
How do I use it?

Caring for this nappy is simple. Always use the dry bucket system (this means no soaking, no bleaching- just pop any poo down the loo then fold over the Velcro onto the laundry tabs and pop it into the bucket with the lid on to prevent any pong) then when you have a days worth of nappies (or two if you have enough), chuck it all into the washing machine with half a scoop of powder. When your machine has done all the hard work for you dry the nappies either on the line or in the dryer.
Wash at 40° and tumble dry on cool

Such a great overnight nappy, its the only one we use now and can rely on it 100% to not leak. We use a hemp booster inside too and the waterproof covers

Bought these as heard fantastic recommendations for nighttime use.
Unfortunately they are so large even with just one liner that standard babygrows just don’t do up, which means we have to have bigger babygrows just for our newborn to wear at night.
Also when baby wees in them the whole nappy gets wet rather than just the liner in other newborn nappies. This means that as soon as baby is wet he cries as he’s uncomfortable. This isn’t great at night.
Third issue I have with these nappies is drying time. Even in the highest setting on my tumble dryer they still come out damp and take another 2-3 hours to air dry in the summer which means that they take a day to a day an a half to be washed and dry again and ready to use. Annoying if you don’t have many or if they were your only nappy style.
Good as a back up, but I much prefer the other newborn nappies we bought for daytime, and I wouldn’t buy them again. If anything I try to avoid using them if possible as I really don’t like them!
