What are they made from?
The Tampon Applicator is made with medical grade plastic which also has natural antimicrobial characteristics! DAME Tampons are made from 100% Organic Cotton and that's it! They are individually wrapped in a cellophane wrap for hygiene reasons, this wrap is not recyclable but is biodegradable. 

DAME reusable tampon applicators should be rinsed after use with warm water and dried between uses, if you are out it can be wiped clean in a cubicle and rinsed off as soon as possible. There is no need for dishwashers, boiling or other harsh treatments as this will shorten the lifespan of the applicator and reduce it's natural antimicrobial characteristics.
