Close Pop-In + Bamboo Nappy

The Bamboo Pop-In Nappy is one of the best 'all in two' and super absorbent nappies available on the market

These components make the Pop-In nappy extremely customisable in terms of absorbency, and can be used for both day and night time use with great results. Bamboo fibre is highly absorbent, although the down side of this is that is does take a while to dry, so if you do not have a tumble drier, you might be better off with something quicker drying.

As with a one-size pocket nappy, the Pop-In is designed to fit from birth to potty training and the New Generation Pop In has 4 rows of poppers down the front rise which allow you to adjust it as your baby grows. This provides you with a fantastically economical option!

Teamed with the Nighttime booster inside, you dont get much thirstier that this nappy! Highly recommended for night use.

One-Size: To fit from 8-35lbs approx.

We have been testing these New Generation Pop-In nappies for a while now, and they really have seen some fantastic improvements from the last version! The exterior washes and wears much better, the fit is more generous and the new stylish colour combinations are a real winner!

Each New Generation Pop-In nappy comes complete with the waterproof outer shell, a bamboo soaker and a top bamboo booster.

What else willI need?

Liners: You may choose to use disposable liners inside your nappies to help with the removal of solids, however these are optional and are not essential.

Nappy Bucket or Hanging Pail: Any lidded bucket or hanging pail can be used to store your wet nappies. There is no need for soaking, they can be thrown into the empty bucket or bag ready for wash day. If using a bucket, mesh bags or pail liners can be used to make transferral of your nappies from the bucket to the machine really easy.

Wet Nappy Bag: This is a waterproof bag to be kept in your changing bag that can be used to store your wet nappies when you are out and about. We recommend the Smart Tote

Boosters: These are optional and may be used if your child is a heavy wetter, or for night-time boosting. Our fabulous range of nappy boosters can be seen here

good as a night nappy. very very slow drying. very absorbant

bit fiddly

I find these a bit fiddly and the Velcro rubs my girl on her tummy and leg where other Velcro brands don't. they are absorbent and cute and the night insert is good though

Thumbs down

It was very bunched up, the elastic was too tight, my toddler refused to wear it as it was too uncomfortable. Very disappointing.

Leak..leak...and more leak
Saturday, 7 June 2014  |

I've tried these nappies since my son is 2 mont old. Now he is 6 month. From the beginning we had leaks. Mostly at the velcro snaps on the sides. It can't even take sometimes 2 hours, and he is wet until neck.
I've been communicating, asking extra advice from close parent, but with all their suggestion it just doesn't work.
Would never buy it again

These are our 'go to' reliable all rounder nappy.

They are on the bulky side and can take a bit of work to get a good fit as they are quite 'stiff' but once they are on they're excellent!

Asborbancy wise they are brilliant even on heavy wetters and the double gusseted legs stop leakage and fit comfortably.

The back waistband can leave slight red marks because it's quite stiff and bulky but doesn't cause discomfort and baby can sit up in them happily. Haven't tried them for nights as we favour fitteds so haven't needed to but definitely would need extra boosting for our 6 month old if we did!

The inners (bamboo) snap in/out easily and dry resonably quickly on the line and in the dryer and keep their soft feel. The outer shell is slow drying due to the absorbant core, but worth the wait in our opinion!

Would recommend these for reliability and they look very cute too!

Good, but V2 are even better!
Sunday, 6 April 2014  |

I tried this nappy as part of the 'try cloth for 10' trial. We found them super absorbent and had no leaks. The inserts take a long time to dry but that seems to be the price to pay for the absorbency. I was put off by the velcro wash tab as felt this would be itchy on my baby's back. I was delighted to discover the V2 where this has been removed and replaced by fold away tabs. This new version is perfect for us at night and the prints are gorgeous!

Very easy to use

bulky but absorbant

these were too bulky for my liking, but great absorbancy - would use the pre-folds + wrap instead though

Bulky and a bit awkward
Monday, 8 April 2013  |

Tried this as part of the Try cloth for 10. Personally I wasn't so keen on having to snap the boosters in/out as it was a bit messy and fiddly. But they are very absorbent and I was confident they'd keep everything in. Also very big on my 8 week old.

Gimmicky version of pre fold + wrap?

These did the job hence 3*s but were very bulky on my 5 month olds and the rise folds dug into the babies' legs. Bamboo prefolds + wrap = better coverage, more versatility, less fiddly and much cheaper.
