These classic Little Lamb nappies have been covering bottoms for 10 years! Apart from the initial purchase price advantage they work out very, very cheap on cost-per-wear. We have had feedback from parents who have put our standard cotton nappies through four babies and then sold them on. The Little Lamb Cotton Nappies are built to last in a throw away age.
Size 1 fits babies from around 7lbs - 20lbs (3kgs - 9kgs) which is generally the age range newborn to nine months.
Size 2 fits babies from around 20lbs-38lbs (9kgs -17kgs) which should fit babies from about seven months to potty training. Littlelamb nappies are also available in size 3 which fits from 35lbs/16kgs. We sell very few size 3's as most babies are dry before they need them.
Caring for this nappy is simple. Always use the dry bucket system (this means no soaking, no bleaching- just pop any poo down the loo then fold over the Velcro onto the laundry tabs and pop it into the bucket with the lid on to prevent any pong) then when you have a days worth of nappies (or two if you have enough), chuck it all into the washing machine with half a scoop of powder. When your machine has done all the hard work for you dry the nappies either on the line or in the dryer.
Waterproof Cover: These nappies require a separate waterproof cover. We can recommend the Blueberry Coverall, Smart-Fit and Bummis Superbrites. Unlike the nappy however, these will only need changing when damp or soiled so you should only need a few covers in total.
Liners: You may choose to use disposable liners inside your nappies to help with the removal of solids, however these are optional and are not essential.
Nappy Bucket or Hanging Pail: Any lidded bucket or hanging pail can be used to store your wet nappies. There is no need for soaking, they can be thrown into the empty bucket or bag ready for wash day. If using a bucket, mesh bags or pail liners can be used to make transferral of your nappies from the bucket to the machine really easy.
Wet Nappy Bag:This is a waterproof bag to be kept in your changing bag that can be used to store your wet nappies when you are out and about. We recommend the Smart Tote
Boosters: These are optional and may be used if your child is a heavy wetter, or for night-time boosting. Our fabulous range of nappy boosters can be seen here

These nappies have been a great purchase at a fabulous price. I like a two part nappy system and needed something to boost my stash now I have two in nappies. I already have plenty of wraps so 5 nappies for £25 was an absolute bargain. I ordered the nappies at about lunchtime on Friday and they were with me by 9am on Saturday morning - brilliant! They were gorgeously fluffy too. I gave the nappies about 5 washes before using and they have proved bombproof so far. The fleecy liners are beautifully soft too next to my LOs skin. So far I have tried Mother-ease air flow wrap, mother- ease Rikki wrap & tots bots flexi wrap over the nappies and all seem to work well. Being a cotton nappy I do find these dry slightly quicker than other bamboo nappies that I have, but of course they don't dry as quickly as other materials such as microfibres. Not a problem for me as I now have plenty of nappies in rotation but might be a consideration for others. The other thing to bear in mind is that these nappies do look bulky. Personally I love a big fluffy cloth nappy bottom so find these adorable, but steer clear if you want a slim looking nappy. All in all the nappies are washing and performing brilliantly and I am delighted with my purchase.
Good drying speed, nive absorbency, not as soft as the bamboo ones
great nappys, they soak a lot
I bought some of these nappies after having used some ancient ones for a few months that were brilliant. The 4th or 5th-hand ones I've been using were amazing even though the elastic had gone and the fabric was crispy ( baby doesn't feel this with a fleecy liner and softens when a bit wet) so the new nappies increase my stash as Ive decided a 2-part system works best for me. I like to use this nappy with a Motherease wrap; particularly an Airflow where this nappy still works well with only the waist of the Airflow done-up prperly and the legs open like a pair of shorts (I've had no wicking or leaks like this so far). My baby is now 19 weeks and we've been using the size 1 cotton Little Lambs for about 3 months. I'm only giving 4 stars because Im not convinced they will fit at 20lb. My child isnt even 13lb yet and I'm not sure they will be long enough soon and she is not particularly long, but overall an excellent nappy.
We were looking for a nightime nappy and these with a bamboo booster and 'bombproof' LL wrap are great. The cotton is soft and will last a very long time. I chose these over bamboo as they can be dried in a tumble dryer if needed without turning hard like bamboo. Although I will probably not need to as the drying time is quicker than expected normaly one day on an inside airer.
