Haven't had grovia before but really like them. Not very compatible with anything else though. A good system but pricey and I think you need to commit quite a bit of money to make the most of the system. The shells last a long time before you need Wash/change them but I could do with more soaker pads, and can't really afford them!

Used these for the first time today and I'm pleased with them. My daughter wore one for around two hours ( although I believe it would have lasted longer ) and I just swapped the insert for a fresh one. The second one didn't last so long as she had a bowel movement but the insert dealt with it quite well! No leaking onto the shell at all. Very trim fitting with the grovia shell and I will definitely be buying more.

i recently bought a load of Grovia items.to get the best use of these i have to wash them 5 to 6 times.i washed them once and started to use them,so far they've been good lasting about 3 to 4 hours so i suspect when i've washed them more they will absorb for longer.they look great, are relatively slim and very simple to change.the fact that you only need to change the booster instead of the nappy makes them quite cheap.only downside is that both types of soaker pads and the AIO i bought take longer to dry than my other nappies.
at first i didn't like them

because they felt very stiff, comparing to microfibre and bamboo,etc...but in time i realized that it is actually really good and absorbent, and my son is perfectly happy in it. He can have a long nap with these and i don't have to worry.
Very Absorbent very long drying time

I like this system it's great for the changing bag the inserts take up less space. I am a fan of organic materials and the quality is great. Draw backs are very long 24+ hours drying time the layers are sewn together so you cant take them apart to speed it up. They are not your best option if money is an issue. They are also very bulky on small babies it takes awhile to grow into them.

Good soakers and the extra gusset is great for containment. I take a couple of days to air dry indoors at least.
Very effective, slow to dry

These are lovely and absorbent - they leak less than disposables. We don't tumble dry and they do take a full 48 hours to air dry (tip: turn them inside out after the first 24 hours to get them to dry thoroughly the whole way through). We bought 24 in total and that's usually enough but sometimes we run out before the most recently washed batch has finished drying. They are a bit big for the shell in the newborn setting but our baby doesn't seem to mind. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

They absorb very well, but as we do not have a drier, they take a very long time to get dry.

I have several different reusable nappies in my rotation and love my Grovia's. The soaker absorb well are are a great, non bulky fit on my 14 month old and she still has plenty of room to grow in them.
